Students of Cooperativa Alcázar school visit the “Purple Corner”
Students of Cooperativa Alcázar school visit the “Purple Corner” of IE Library on Segovia Campus. During the visit, the students showed interest in the new “Purple Corner” space, recently created in IE Library in order to promote gender equality among the university community, with which we took another step in our objectives to achieve all and each of the 17 SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals, which include Gender Equality.
IE University will launch a contest to stimulate the creation of “purple points” in Segovia colleges and institutes in order to establish a spaces network on equality at the service of all students.
At the same time, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, an artistic installation was inaugurated in the library, created by a segovian artist, Fernando Magaz. In this work, the artist has represented an "army" of women fighting against the inequality monster.
