SUMMARY:CIVICA Research Open Science for the Social Sciences - Open Access and textbooks: is a completely open education possible?
DESCRIPTION:Open Access and textbooks: is a completely open education possible? \nEste panel\, que explora el acceso abierto y la educación abierta en las ciencias sociales\, marca la Semana Internacional del Acceso Abierto en la Universidad Bocconi de Milán. Benedetta Calonaci explora si la adopción sistemática de libros de texto abiertos en los cursos universitarios podría representar una mejora crucial hacia el derecho a la educación de millones de estudiantes. Su presentación describirá la situación actual italiana de los libros de texto abiertos en ciencias sociales\, vista desde el punto de observación de una biblioteca académica. Se destacarán las tendencias actuales y los elementos de resistencia\, así como las buenas prácticas y los factores clave que pueden conducir a una transición “abierta” y “digital”\, con profundas consecuencias tanto para las universidades como para la sociedad. A continuación\, el profesor Giovanni Puccetti describe un nuevo proyecto colaborativo de acceso abierto en la Universidad de Milán\, que incluye un libro de texto de Matemáticas de acceso abierto. Este proyecto también incluye una plataforma Moodle para crear tareas y exámenes\, con materiales y fuentes disponibles gratuitamente en la web. Finalmente\, Andrea Angiolini\, editora\, discutirá cómo los libros de texto abiertos y los recursos educativos abiertos en el mercado de la educación superior se encuentran en un equilibrio inestable entre la máxima inclusión y la sostenibilidad económica/organizacional. Sostendrá que el verdadero desafío es proponer herramientas de estudio efectivas y adecuadas tanto para los planes de estudio como para las necesidades que expresan las sociedades.
