The first session designed to support and guide early career researchers and aspiring authors on their path toward potential publication in a Cambridge University Press journal.

This session covers:

  • Types of Journals & Why Selecting the Right Journal Matters
  • Understanding Journal Scope & Fit – how to align submissions with a journal’s aims, scope, and audience
  • Journal Impact – looking beyond getting published when selecting a journal
  • A Brief Overview of OA & the Publishing Process
  • Cambridge’s Author Services and Tools for Support

Should attendees join in all the three sessions through April 2026, they will be sent a certificate of completion from Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
