A group of high school students visited IE Library in Segovia, a department directed by women who are developing leading initiatives in their fields.

A group of high school students (participants of the ‘STEM Talent Girls’ project) has visited the IE University Library in Segovia, a department currently led by women who are working with innovative technology and developing leading initiatives in their respective fields.

During their tour around the university, the young students got to know the work of the women of the IE library as well as the DiY IE Library app, an innovative application for mobile self-loans.

This activity is part of the events organized for the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and aims to show the work and trajectory of these women in the university and science field and, through their example, to convey to the younger generations the idea that equality is possible in the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
