LIBRARY USE CONDITIONS
The Guillermo and Michèle de la Dehesa Library(IEU) offers a subscribed service to its users of electronic resources and a careful selection of quality resources: databases, books, electronic magazines, legal portals, open files, etc.
Conditions of use
The Library has subscribed the appropriate licenses of electronic resources which authorize the use on the same for academic use, other uses such as profit-making or activities not connected to the IE are strictly prohibited.
The authorized users are only permitted to print, store and copy articles from magazines, a chapter of books, or partial registers at databases, only in a reasonable number with the object of research, teaching, and study, without infringing the specific conditions at each license.
It is prohibited (general terms):
Any use that infringes applicable legislation, including the current law on Intellectual Property (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 of April 12, as amended by Law 23/2006 of July 7), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, the Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the protection of personal data, and any other relevant regulations.
The copying or reproduction of entire journals, electronic books, databases, or any substantial part thereof, regardless of format.
Manipulating, altering, or removing any record, document, metadata, or component of licensed resources, including notices, terms and conditions, digital rights management mechanisms, or other elements that govern access or use.
Using the information for commercial or lucrative purposes, including resale, redistribution, or incorporation into products or services intended for profit.
Performing bulk or systematic downloading of content beyond the limits established by each provider, whether manually or through automated means.
Using automated methods such as web scraping, text and data mining, bots, crawlers, or any other systematic extraction techniques to harvest, reproduce, or collect content, metadata, or any component of licensed electronic resources, unless expressly authorized in writing by the provider.
Access to electronic resources implies the acceptance by all users of the conditions of use, the user is responsible for any damage detrimental which may occur.
