1 Discover the library

Search our catalog for the materials you need. If they are not in our collection, submit an Interlibrary Loan request or fill out this form.

2 Log in and fill the ILL form

You will be redirected to the ILL form with the data to be filled in. Review the bibliographic information: Title, ISBN, DOI…

For printed books: ensure that the selected pickup location is correct.

3 Processing

Check the status of your ILL request here.

If no lending library can fulfill it, you will be informed promptly.

Users can have a maximum of:

  • 15 active requests
  • 5 ILL books on loan

4 Document delivery

You will be notified once the request is ready. The material is personal and non-transferable.

The estimated delivery time for interlibrary loans is 10 days.

 

Uncollected ILLs

If an ILL  book is not collected by the end of the loan period, a 30-day penalty will be applied.

 

Overdue ILLs
You will receive 1 Sanction Day for each item, for each day it is late.

This is a service for obtaining materials that are not available within our catalog, aimed at supporting study and research.

IE Community: students, faculty, and staff.

Inquiries will be processed provided the user does not have pending sanctions or unreturned overdue items.

*A maximum of 10% of the book can be requested in electronic format due to copyright restrictions.

Renewals of printed copies are not allowed. The loan period and type of access are determined by the lending library. In some cases, depending on their policies, on-site consultation will be required.

  • It may take longer to deliver hard-to-find, rare or out-of-print books.

  • Users are responsible for the materials during the loan period. If the material is lost or returned in poor condition, the holder must replace that material.

  • The same document cannot be requested more than once within the same semester after it has been loaned and returned.
