IEU Library Expands Academic Writing Collection for Theses, Dissertations and Research Publications

The Guillermo and Michèle de la Dehesa Library has strengthened its Academic Writing collection with a new selection of titles designed to support researchers, doctoral candidates, and students working on their Bachelor’s and Master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, or scientific publications.

This expanded collection offers a multidisciplinary perspective on the writing and research process. It combines practical guides on structure and argumentation with resources on qualitative and quantitative methodologies, critical reading of scientific evidence, and strategies to enhance clarity, coherence, and academic impact. Whether users are defining a research question, building a solid theoretical framework, selecting appropriate methods, or refining their academic voice, these new titles provide step-by-step guidance grounded in best practices.

Beyond writing techniques, the collection also emphasises the development of strong research design and rigorous information evaluation. Students and researchers will find tools to , and communicate findings effectively to academic audiences. By integrating methodological insight with writing strategies, the IEU Library aims to support the full research lifecycle, from the initial idea to the final publication.

All titles are available in electronic format, ensuring immediate and flexible access for the entire IE community. Users can explore the complete selection through the Course Reserves page at the following link: https://ie.on.worldcat.org/courseReserves/course/id/23530823

With this update, the IEU Library continues its commitment to empowering the academic community with high-quality resources that strengthen research skills and foster excellence in scholarly communication.
