The Guillermo & Michèle de la Dehesa Library continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability with the launch of a new Sustainability & ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) filter within its E-resources and Databases section. This new functionality has been designed to facilitate faster, more efficient access to high-quality sustainability-related content across the Library’s subscribed platforms.
With sustainability and ESG criteria increasingly shaping research agendas, business strategies, and public policy, access to reliable and specialised information is more important than ever. The new filter allows students, faculty, staff, and researchers to quickly identify databases that provide relevant data, reports, rankings, academic articles, and analytical tools focused on environmental impact, social responsibility, and governance practices.
Using the filter is simple. Users can visit the E-resources and Databases page and select Discipline >Sustainability & ESG option to refine the list of available resources. Once filtered, they can access the most relevant databases directly and conduct their searches within each platform, ensuring a more targeted and efficient research process.

This enhancement supports a wide range of academic and professional needs, from ESG performance analysis and sustainable finance research to corporate responsibility studies and impact measurement projects. By reducing the time spent identifying appropriate sources, the filter allows users to focus on critical analysis and informed decision-making.
Through this initiative, IEU Library reinforces its role as a strategic partner in responsible research and teaching. By streamlining access to sustainability-focused resources, the Library contributes to the integration of ESG principles into academic work, institutional projects, and professional practice, further aligning its services with IE University’s broader sustainability goals.
