IEU Library supporting Education and Research

The Guillermo & Michèle de la Dehesa Library offers IE Community access to academic materials and advanced technology. It also hosts and participates in many educational and informational events.

Like every September the library kicks off the academic year by offering presentations and training sessions to all members of the IE Community.

A research and Learning center, with a strong commitment to launching technological projects that help develop and use tools that promote the generation of knowledge.

Offering personalized service both on-site (with locations in Madrid and Segovia) and remotely (through the Virtual Library), the library provides the academic community with the most innovative resources and materials in research and education. The Library offers training sessions to all users, so that they can get the most out of all the resources.

Face-to-face sessions for students in class, hybrid sessions, and online sessions, as well as for professors, researchers, and staff, take place throughout the year, with a special focus at the beginning of the course.

The Virtual Library, which houses all the library’s resources: research tools, databases, premium online press, online academic journals, the Worldcat global catalog (with connection to more than 2.3 billion records of the best resources, plus a large open access collection), also has a Training Calendar, from which to register for online sessions, both on the library and on the subscribed resources.

Our Library, with the aim of promoting the Sustainable Development Goals and the desire to continue contributing with its support to the Community, offers specific sessions for external libraries and librarians to share experiences and continue promoting knowledge creation.
