IE University has reached a new milestone in its commitment to Open Science: researchers can now deposit research data in the IE Repository through its new Datasets collection.
This service supports the long-term preservation, visibility, citation and reuse of research data, while helping researchers meet institutional and funder requirements. Researchers retain the rights they hold over their datasets and can define their conditions of reuse through an appropriate licence.
The IE Repository promotes data management practices aligned with the FAIR Principles, helping make research data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable. It has also been indexed in re3data, a leading global registry of research data repositories. This recognition strengthens the repository’s international visibility and reflects IE University’s commitment to the transparent, responsible and FAIR-aligned management of research data.
Alongside this development, IE University Library has launched a new Research Data & DMP section, offering guidance, templates and tools for managing research data and preparing Data Management Plans.
