IE LIBRARY HAS RENEWED ITS MEMBERSHIP TO THE OLDEST AND LARGEST LIBRARY ASSOCIATION IN THE WORLD – THE AMERICAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION (ALA)- REINFORCING ITS INTERNATIONAL PROFILE AND PARTNERSHIPS,  PARTICIPATING IN ALA FUTURE EVENTS AND INITIATIVES

This key partnership with the American Library Association enriches IE Library profile worlwide,  enhancing the knowledge sharing among the most important libraries in the world and also keeping IE Library up to date with the latest trends on innovation and sustainability on library services.

The American Library Association awarded last year IE Library on the “2020 Best Library Practices in the World Awards” for the Purple Corner Initiative, which encouraged bridges for future collaborations and joined initatives.

This stragegic partnership, together with other IE Library already holds, is one of the library goals as per the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda on establishing partnerships with other Institutions to tackle sustainability best practices.
