Last Friday, the Segovia Group of Librarians and Archivists (BIBAR) gathered at the Creative Campus of IE School of Architecture for a professional exchange hosted by Guillermo & Michèle de la Dehesa Library. The meeting brought together representatives from key cultural and knowledge institutions across the city, reinforcing collaboration within Segovia’s library and archival network.

The session combined a tour of the Creative Campus facilities with a working discussion on shared challenges and opportunities in library and archival services. Topics included resource management, user engagement, professional cooperation, and the evolving role of cultural institutions in supporting research and community access to knowledge.

By hosting this meeting, IEU Library further consolidated its position as an active connector between the university and Segovia’s cultural and documentary heritage institutions. Strengthening these professional ties contributes to building a more cohesive local network, opening the door to future collaborations, joint initiatives, and continued knowledge exchange.
