Last 13th November, Guillermo and Michèle de la Dehesa Library was pleased to welcome Dr. Serhiy Hvozdov, and Professor Viktoriia V. Oliinyk, as part of the CIVICA project.

CIVICA is The European University of Social Science that unites ten leading European Higher Education Institutions in social science, business management, humanities, and public policy fields.  Our Library, to promote the Sustainable Development Goals and the desire to continue contributing with its support to the Community, offers specific sessions for external libraries and librarians to share experiences and continue promoting knowledge creation.

During the visit, the professors got to know firsthand our resources, digital library, new technologies, open access items, interlibrary loan system, Worldcat Worldwide Catalog, and much more. Also, they have visited our bothe libraries, in Segovia and Madrid, learning how our library circulation works, and the different experiences we give to our users.

Our Library offers a wide range of products and services that promote the achievement of each one of the 17 SDGs. The Library demonstrates its involvement and commitment to society following the IE Strategy, and this is a great example of SDG #16, related to peace, justice, and strong institutions.

The IEU Library always welcomes visiting faculty to the library to learn about the resources and collections available!
