This November, the IE Purple Corner marked its 5th anniversary with a special Coffee Date with a Book edition. This year’s event invited the IE Community to explore the impact of the feminist movement through a discussion of Feminism is for Everybody by Bell Hooks.
IEU Library, in collaboration with IE Campus Life—Women, organized the session, led by Klaudia Kupidura, president of the IE Girl Up Club. Participants engaged in a dynamic conversation about the book’s themes, examining how feminist ideals continue to shape our world.
The event was a welcoming space for reflection and dialogue. As the Purple Corner celebrates its fifth year of promoting diversity and inclusion, this gathering reaffirms its commitment to fostering critical conversations on social justice.
