IEU Library, IE Women & Allies, and IE Editorial Knowledge have organized to celebrate this fourth anniversary a poetry workshop with Lucía Bleusvet, Admissions Advisor at IEU and a young and talented poet and musician who has just published her book “Eclosión”, which is recommended in our Purple Corner section.
The event took place in the Art Room of the IE Tower, last November 30. The poet read some poems from her book and also, gave a masterclass on how to create our poems. The IEU Community had the chance to participate in the workshop and share their experiences.
Diversity, as one of the main principles of IE University, is reflected in our Purple Corner. It’s been four years since we started this section, and our collection has increased with more recommendations about diversity, equality, and multidisciplinary knowledge.
It was possible thanks to IE Women & Allies, IE Editorial Knowledge, IEU Library, and Junta de Castilla y León. This project is framed in the Equality Gender objective from the Agenda 2030. The ALA -American Library Association- recognized in 2020 the Purple Corner as one of the best librarian practices in this field.
The Purple Corner is an environment for everyone to collaborate and grow to fight against violence on women. You are welcome to participate, create content, recommend books, and more.
