On 17^th October, the IEU Library joined the first EBSCO Tech Day in Madrid. This event took place at NH Nacional, where we had the opportunity to learn about the latest technological solutions and be inspired by trends in libraries and educational institutions.  

EBSCO Tech Day is an event created especially for those passionate about innovation, technology and trends in the world of libraries. It is the ideal time to share experiences, learn from renowned experts and stay up to date with the latest developments in the sector. 

During the event, they discussed about the library role in managing information to be accessible to the users. Also, they talked about their experience with EBSCO Discovery Services, FOLIO Open Access Software, BIBFRAME and Bibliograph. At the end of the session, they held a round table to discuss the future of libraries where Meghan Tylec, Álvaro López, Andrés Echavarría, Carlos López y Francisco Javier Martín participated giving their visions.
