To celebrate World Book Day, IEU Library launched a cross-campus Book Hunt to bring books closer to our academic community.
As part of this activity, 10 books were carefully hidden in each campus—Segovia and María de Molina—inviting students, faculty, and staff to take part in a literary search experience that combined curiosity, exploration, and the joy of reading. The premise was simple yet effective: find a book, and it is yours to keep.
This initiative aimed to foster a deeper connection between the community and the Library’s collections while promoting reading as both an academic and personal enrichment activity. By transforming the campuses into interactive literary spaces, the Book Hunt encouraged participants to engage with books in an unexpected and playful way.
Beyond the excitement of discovery, the activity also reflects IEU Library’s ongoing commitment to creating innovative experiences that support learning, creativity, and intellectual curiosity. Initiatives such as this contribute to building a vibrant academic culture where knowledge is not only accessed but also experienced.
The Book Hunt has generated enthusiasm across both campuses, with members of the IE community actively participating and sharing in the experience. By reimagining how users encounter books, IEU Library continues to explore new ways of connecting its community with knowledge resources.
World Book Day thus becomes not only a celebration of literature, but also an opportunity to reinforce the role of the Library as a dynamic and accessible space for discovery.
