Our Library Director, Alicia Fátima Gómez, was one of the experts invited to the 3rd-panel discussion, where she and other professionals addressed the challenges of research evaluation, considering the new trends and Principles of COARA and the Barcelona Declaration. The round table discussed the challenge of research evaluation in general, and specifically the new ANECA criteria and the role of the different actors in the university community. Some of the issues discussed were the dependence on commercial databases and the development of new metrics closer to open science.
